Driver Reimbursements

How much will I be reimbursed for driving?

Drivers are reimbursed up to the current IRS per mile limits for the round trip to the trailhead. This rate is updated annually and ensures you're compensated fairly for your vehicle expenses.

Are driver reimbursements taxable?

No! Since reimbursements are made up to IRS per mile limits, there are no tax implications for drivers. These reimbursements are considered expense reimbursements, not income.

When do I get reimbursed?

Reimbursements are processed automatically after the hike is completed. You'll receive payment through your connected bank account or Stripe balance within 2-3 business days.

Host Earnings

How much do hosts earn?

Hosts earn 10% of all rider payments for their hikes. This is a percentage of the total amount paid by riders to join your hike.

How do I receive my earnings?

You can choose to deposit your earnings directly to your bank account or keep them in your Stripe balance to use for future rides on the platform.

When are host earnings paid out?

Host earnings are calculated and made available after each hike is completed. You can request a payout at any time through your dashboard.

Rider Services

How does doorstep pickup work?

When you book a ride, you'll be matched with a nearby driver who will pick you up from your specified address on their way to the trailhead. No need to drive to a meeting point!

When will I be matched with a driver?

Driver matching happens 16 hours before the hike start time. This gives you and your driver time to coordinate pickup details and get to know each other.

What if I need to cancel my ride?

You can cancel your ride booking up to 24 hours before the hike for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Payment Processing

How are payments processed?

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We support all major credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets for rider payments.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes! We use Stripe for all payment processing, which is PCI DSS compliant and uses bank-level security to protect your payment information.
